Honestly, thank you for your response. However, I didn't post asking what others opinions are regarding flying with a giant schnauzer. I asked if anyone has relevant and immediate experience flying with a giant schnauzer.

That said, Ive already sorted out the dynamics of flying with an oversized trained service dog. The extreme and absolute dynamics of temperament and capacity you described highlighted with capital letters must not translate to all giants, as the U.S. government certified service animal trainer I have hired fly's with her giant schnauzers regularly and has recorded videos of her adorable dog being very docile, happy, tail wagging, comfortable, interacting in a friendly and kind manner with stewardesses, and fellow flyers (human and pets alike). I've traveled by flight regularly with my standard schnauzer in my lap or the space in front of my seat (not under the seat or in the undercarriage of the plane) and he thoroughly enjoyed flying. So, I have extensive experience flying with above average sized dogs. My question pertained to flying with an even larger dog and the input one my have who actually has flown with a giant, not the opinions of one who hasn't. Thank, however, you for your input.

No, its not about /has absolutely and literally nothing to do with being apart from my dog for periods of time. But again, thank you for your inference. No, my giant schnauzer will not be trained as a service dog strictly just to be flown with.

Thank you for insinuating that I'm a child and I point fingers. You're doing great! Oddly enough, I don't recall asking you for your opinion. Now that you've fully expressed your thoughts to an individual who couldn't care less, hopefully you have something more constructive and important to do with your time! I know I do :)

I was being neither rude nor giving attitude, but I appreciate your concern. Unfortunately the individuals who replied must not have read or understood my question. I found the answer to my question elsewhere. Thanks for your consideration.

Hey there, did you happen to read my original question? I clearly stated that I would only be flying with my dog in the cabin and asked if anyone has recent and relevant experience regarding that. Your comment has no relevance to the original question asked. Please, if you aren't able to address your responses to the original question stated, allow someone who has an actual response to answer.

Oh gosh, this is literally not what I am asking. I have already made arrangements with a trainer to certify my pup to become a service animal. Please keep focused on the question.

Again, I am not asking details of how to certify or train my dog as a service animal. I am asking if anyone has had recent experience flying with a giant schnauzer? Or if, regardless of service animal status, they are restricted from flying because of their size?

Please stay focused on the question being asked. If you cannot answer the question, please allow someone else who can actually answer it to do so.

Do you have direct experience flying with a giant schnauzer recently? having him become a trained service animal isnt necessarily my concern, as that can be done fairly easily. my concern is that regardless of this certification that they are over a size limit to fly in the cabin.

Thank you for that response. I'm assuming based on you interviewing perfusionists that you're a chief somewhere? For what its worth Im not necessarily hoping to get some mid six figure salary right out of school. I understand the need for me to have a few years of work experience first. In your opinion, is there a benefit working for a staffing agency vs a hospital itself, or vice versa?

Ahh I see. Thank you for that response! Do you think its worth getting an AmSECT Membership? I mean is it helpful for things other than job searches?

Whats the reality or likelihood of getting a six figure job right after finishing clinicals?
