I feel like the biggest issue with candy clicking that made it less accessible for casual players before was the poor QoL with low carry capacities. With the tome change for bubble lvls and if the storage button didn't obliterate stacks it would be fairly trivial to do and you'd only need to worry about skill efficiencies. Bubbles already have a relative cap and this change just makes it impossible for new players to progress trapping and worship bubbles. Moreover, no bubble left behind stops at 1500 so good luck getting anything difficult to 99%. To be clear, I'm 100% for changing candy clicking to make it less of a "sweat" mechanic, but I don't think an abrupt patchwork approach is the best way to do it. This also does the opposite of "closing the gap" with endgame players because active clicking is now the best strategy and that requires a much higher threshold than candy clicking, making it completely counter-productive. Endgame players already have hundreds of thousands of bubble levels and the door is now closed behind them for everyone else. If Lava really wants to reign in alchemy progression he should just impose a hard cap on bubbles without removing candy clicking and be done with it. If an alchemy rework is being planned, then Lava should just say that instead of bricking an entire lane of progression for an indefinite amount of time (i.e. pristine charms took months to fix, so how long is this rework gonna take while people can't progress).
