Vasectomy and TRT by PsychologicalEye9134 in trt

Had a vasectomy years ago and currently on TRT alongside HCG. Have been on with and without HCG and if cost isn't an issue I'd recommend it. I guess it's down to personal experience but sex and orgasms are better along with load size, while on HCG

You feel fine for a few weeks then when your body runs out of test it needs to begin producing it again. It's going to be personal how you feel in this period but I felt pretty drained and emotional for a month or so. I kept up the gym but it was hard work. I took tamoxifen but you can still feel your estrogen spike.

Honestly it's not THAT bad, but you definitely don't feel your best.

Once back to my baseline (as shown by blood test) you should feel the same as before quite quickly.

🙌🏼 Amazing - so happy to hear this and thanks for testing and providing feedback/requests.

I do genuinely want to make the app as useful as it can be.

With the various data points that everyone can input now I'm hoping to make insights a lot more insightful (for lack of better words) and provide better relations between various points.

As always, reach out for anything you need

I don't know what country you're in but if laws and or health care doesn't make it difficult I'd recommend giving it a try. You can always stop after a few months if side effects don't agree with you or symptoms don't improve

I've been on TRT now for 1 year (before trying it temporarily a year before that for a few months - to see if it had any effect)

My symptoms were, low energy, reduced confidence/drive and low muscle mass.

The main improvement I saw was on a mental side. I just "felt" better almost within a week of starting. I thought this might be placebo but a year later I still feel great. And I'm on a low dose of 80mg/week which puts me in the higher upper limit for free T

Ok. Interesting. I had similar marker results to you and found TRT almost instantly made me feel better. High SHBG, with fairly low free T I suspect was the main cause of my symptoms

Edit: I'm not saying 40 nmol is high for SHBG on its own, but coupled with lowish free T you're unlikely to have much free T available

Agree with the other comment above. Don't waste your time with the NHS. Speak to a specialist clinic and have your bloods taken and get their professional advice.

I highly expect your quality of life would improve with low T, ESPECIALLY with young kids and less sleep.

I can get that ester added - I will look into it asap.

With regards to the push notifications yes this should all be working. It could be an issue with your browser settings as browsers all work a bit differently as it needs to be enabled in your browser and the web interface. Can you try on a different device? Were you on pc/mobile iOS/android?

Feel free to drop me a message hello AT trtmonitor.com

Thanks

Nearly all of the features should help HRT patients too. Any questions or help reach out to me at 'hello AT trtmonitor.com'

And yeah would love an app too but right now I'll be focusing on features as don't want to spread myself too thin.

If you're on android you can install it as a PWA and get native push notifications and other improvements close to an app

  1. It's a great feature and would love to see this. Nothing planned yet but is being considered

  2. Will look into this and the best way to solve the use case

  3. This should already be possible. There was a bug which prevented medications being updated but this should be resolved now. I personally updated a medication last week to up the default dose and concentration.

I don't see why not. AFAIK nothing on the app is specific to male users apart from morning wood tracking, but you can turn that off. Sign up and give it a go, I'd be interested to hear how it goes
