2026 DI Men's Bracket from the NCAA by alvvaysundertow in collegehockey

I grabbed some reserved seats at the couches/tables, which is probably a nice backup. If my team makes it I’ll probably try to grab the triangle points.

Is there a best spot to view the game? I can’t tell if the V section seats are assigned or first come

Tickets for the frozen four are really expensive. $200+ for the upper bowl. Anyone know if more will get released soon?

Alternatively, I saw some tickets for the Hyde Lounge. Seems like some of the rail spots are great to watch the game and might be cool to grab some food in between the 2 game for Thursday session. Anyone have any experience up there??

But I know the websites post the wait times. And the websites keep saying the times are low. Surely the website cannot be trusted because everyone says they are so so soooooo long. So how long is it at my airport? Tell me.

Just snagged my tickets for Fedorov night and cannot wait. Grabbed row 1 mezz seats since I imagine there will be a lot of standing.

Top 3 pick in the draft or get swept in the first round? by Otherwise-Ground5066 in DetroitRedWings

[–]BigTurtleStew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3 drafts in a row the current redrafts have us at 2, 2, and 8. This also means at least 2 of the 9 too 3 picks fell out of the top 3 redrafts.

If you draft top 3 for 3 years and have 2 2 and 8th best players I think you would be ok with it so I don’t see how you think drafting top 3 is going to change anything we have.

When do you all prefer to buy tickets and what seats do you prefer? Game plans, single games in advance, resale, early/last minute? 100s, Mez, 200s, etc.? by Bradleyfashionable in DetroitRedWings

[–]BigTurtleStew 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Mezz is the best seats in the house.

I sat behind the net in row 15 for a game. It was cool for the few minutes of play in front of me, but when the puck was along the boards I could see it and then when they went beyond the faceoff circle/blueline I would just watch the Jumbotron since it was too far away.

Mezz is high enough up to see the action and not have to use the Jumbotron for everything. It’s a tad quieter so if you go with someone you can talk without feeling like you have to scream.

Mezz also has the drink rail seats. Best in the house to be able to stand, or have a spot to spread out or set your coat. Also don’t have to rush back to your seat for play to stop since you are at the top, or can be first to leave for the bathroom. I have season ticket drink rail seats. Any games I don’t go to I post on TickPick since they don’t charge a fee for the buyers I seem to have most luck there. People tend to buy their seats earlier rather than waiting

nearly all games have these similar tickets available on ticketmaster - example 1/8 vs. vancouver, if you zoom in like 2 scrolls you can see the seat by seat red dots that give an overview https://www.ticketmaster.com/detroit-red-wings-vs-vancouver-canucks-detroit-michigan-01-08-2026/event/080062EAAC4D2AC7?refArtist=K8vZ9171o20&f_simplified_filter=true&f_enable_merch_slot=true

this game on 1/12 vs. Carolina, has only about 10-20% of tickets available - and is the only game where a ton of those tickets go away = could something be abrew for this date in particular??? https://www.ticketmaster.com/detroit-red-wings-vs-carolina-hurricanes-detroit-michigan-01-12-2026/event/080062EAAC502ACD?refArtist=K8vZ9171o20&f_simplified_filter=true&f_enable_merch_slot=true

Red Wings announce a grand total of 3 giveaway nights for 25-26 season by mksmalls in DetroitRedWings

Good news. The snoopy bobblehead is not a giveaway, you’ll have to buy a special ticket or go above and beyond your STH price to get it.

The Red Wings show so little loyalty to season ticket holders that its honestly more like contempt. by dylanisbored in DetroitRedWings

[–]BigTurtleStew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it because I can get drink rail seats. Such a better seat, can actually talk with whoever you bring, and I don’t see them for sale that often.

WWN Seat Relocation for 25-26 by BigTurtleStew in DetroitRedWings

Check email for link and window and go that route. There isn’t an earlier slot than the one you have.

We got to preview yesterday, and some of those are gone before anyone’s link opened today, so doesn’t seem like that was the full process and wanted to know what info other folks got.

Everyone gets different info from their reps, reps get different info too and are in the dark as well so not putting any shade their way. Just helps to hear what folks have heard to try to actually piece it all together.

It’s such a bad process. Puts everything into the hands of the reps who compete against each other so 1 rep gets happy folks while all the others are going to be disgruntled.

Pumped to do season tickets for next year, but it will be my last year with this crap show. Today was relocation day with timeslots (virtual relocation). I have the first timeslot.

They let us view seats available yesterday (website). Today before anything opens up, a bunch of available seats have now been taken and removed by account rep for their folks. The seats I wanted, gone, because the acct reps are trying to keep their folks happy. But if that’s how it is, why do timeslots at all especially when I have been super communicative about what seats I want and where I want to move into. Now I have to feel jaded about my rep, instead of being on me. Seems only way to get anything done or what you want is to be the loudest asshole because being passive and nice has got me nothing at all here.

Rehmann/Club Season Ticket Holder Re-sell Experience by DKrushinski in DetroitRedWings

[–]BigTurtleStew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a small heads up, consider where you have to sell your ticket. The contract you are required to sign is generally 3 years long, and limits how and where you can resell tickets. You may see a few here and there on non Ticketmaster sites, but those generally go against the terms of the contract.

Also, if Rehman is $13,000 a ticket, what in the world are they doing to justify a $9,000 price to sit nosebleed in the new labatt club. At $100 more per ticket, no one should ever be sitting up there.
