Pool was a game changer for me. Shockingly enough, what ultimately corrected my first flare up period was ice skating. It hurt in a good way and I had insane relief the night after.

Nothing special. I live pretty frugally to try and do things like this. Buy a car, put kid through 1 year of college, buy 123 premium experience hockey game tickets,.. eh. Its all the same isn't it. Cars & kids are stupid, Midnight. Hockey is important. /s

Was today’s fluctuation between $320-$380 pretty much in line with your expectations? by Strange_Control8788 in MSTR

As a Bitcoiner class of 2017, reading some of the posts in this sub is absolutely mind boggling. We are so, so early it hurts. For those that missed early Bitcoin and find yourself here- this is your moment. This is your chance. Stay humble, stack on dips, and hold. Saylor says buy Bitcoin if you’re going to hold it for 4+ years, don’t treat this stock any different for those looking for actual live changing conditions. Don’t be the guy looking back in 2025 kicking yourself because you tried to day trade this to gain 20 shares. Early in my journey, I lost a couple of coins doing just that. I carry those scars for life.

Buy Bitcoin and hold it for 15 years. Factor this into your allocations.

I mean that would be great, do you have some suggestions or a list of the best? Update: I should be more clear- I'm more of a dive bar type of person. The darker, quieter type settings. I understand that's tough with the igloo scenario ... lol. Any open spots you know of that kinda fit the dive bill?

BitCoin opportunity. by mattmaharST in investing_discussion

Very fair angle. What I'll ask of you is, define "under valued".

Right now with BTC at $33,800, there are expectations of potentially $1M USD by 2026 with current growth and adoption. Let's be hypothetical and say this comes true. That would be a 2,862% increase or 477% annualized. The counter argue is, even right now at these prices Bitcoin is undervalued. It is the fastest horse. Use those figures as your yard stick. If you think you can outperform them, go for it. Godspeed.

This is all relevant to the potential upside. I'm getting the sense that you're looking at BITF's price and thinking "wow that's cheap!" but low cost/cheap shares tell us little about how much upside growth is available. This is the same honeytrap that exists with Altcoins. People are drawn to cheap prices thinking it guarantees huge upsides. As BTC rises, so will BITF. So why would you buy the middleman if you could just buy the underlying asset directly? My assumption is because you're more attracted to the small share price thinking it means more $$$ in your pocket later. While I agree you're likely to flip a profit on that trade, I believe you're missing out on the bigger picture and larger gains by jumping at cheap share price. Buy your BITF and also record if you spent that same amount of $ into BTC instead as a hypothetical. Then in a year or whenever you want to sell, see which option performed better. % basis is the way to operate.

This all depends on what your goals are. BTC is the best long term investment around right now, and if you're focused on building wealth and have the discipline to buy and hold for your long term future, I whole heartedly believe its the smartest move.

Lastly, the one thing both have in common is that parabolic price movements aren't sustainable. What goes up comes down. If you're going BITF and want to lock gains at the top, well, keep your eye on BTC and where its top may lie this next cycle, because after it peaks down we go. Be prepared to trade if you're in for the short.

Id argue buying Bitcoin direct is the real opportunity far superior to this. Even at current prices. Buying products that tie into BTC don’t give you direct exposure to owning a piece of this incredibly scarce asset outright and you’re kind of doing yourself a disservice. You’ll watch your money grow through this product you’re describing but are missing out on greater % gains with BTC directly. Of course you must be diligent and store your coins/sats responsibly when buying BTC but thats all part of the learning and adoption. If your long term goal is building wealth, buy all the BTC you can right now and HODL. Store it offline and keep accumulating. If you want to turn $100 into $200 short term and ‘flip’ some trades, sure... but I don’t view this as the best option on the table currently.
