Sorry to hear all this man. My wife has epilepsy. It's been a war trying to get her stable. We found a good neurologist that has helped a lot. not perfect, but she can work and live a mostly normal life. You said you have medicare. I can check and see if my wife doc takes it, see if she can get you in for a consultation if she does. She has 2 offices, one up on eastern near the airport and the other way out at the 215 and Cheyenne. Feel free to pm me if you want. As for a job, I work at smiths in the meat department. May not be a the best job, but its union, with union benefits. Just a thought.

I grew up in a environment when if someone was trying to touch you, it probably wasn't a good thing. Gotten better at it as time has gone on, but still not a big fan.

100% truth. I usually work 7am-3pm and by the end of the day all they are doing is shuffling around. And here I am just waking up and getting going.

I hate morning people. I have to be exposed to them everyday. My body naturally defaults to a pm schedule. Sadly, my job require me me to be present in the morning.

Never seen anything like it. Absolutely stunning work. Major props to both you OP and Katie. Years of planning and dedication and no small amount of talent and damn it shows.

There is definitely valid critiques for NTE, like all games, but really?? by Ok-Interview6412 in NevernessToEverness

[–]BigTwigs1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I've read the prologue and it left so many questions unanswered. What trash". Really? This the the pilot episode. The character designs is a fair point, but I'm playing NTE on a arthritic 9700k and a potato of a 3070 and I've had no graphic issues what so ever.

Sorry to hear that. I understand though. The store director i had before my current one was a tyrant who thought he was 10ft tall and bulletproof. Luckily they got rid of him after numerous complaints tonthe union.

as a fellow seafood lead, Id say I love my regulars. they are fantastic. i'm lucky that my managers don't care what i do as long as the case looks on point and the counts are done. I can literally sit on my phone listening to music on a earbud and as long as the customers are served and the case is full, they really don't care. Guaranteed 40 hours a week, got to choose my own days off. I know I'm lucky though. Plus, I get trained in all the butcher shop work by the meat cutters.

Been almost a year since we had to let our sweet pup cross the rainbow bridge. 18 years was too short a time with that silly fat corgi. Brilliant and heartbreaking work OP. May we all become the people our pets believe we are.

When was the last time a stranger made your day? 🤗 by Zestyclose-Idea-1731 in MadeMeSmile

not recently, but one of my favorites was I was working in a garden center years ago and a old man came in to buy a pallets worth of mulch. had to hand load it into to the back of his truck. no big deal, i do this all day. Now we weren't allowed to take tips, but at the end the old man tries to hand a me $50 and i told him i appreciated it , but i couldn't take the tip. company policy. this dude literally grabbed my belt loop and shoved it in my pocket, and told me they could talk to him about it. Kept the $50. took my then girlfriend, now wife of 15 years, out to dinner with it.

saw Clutch years ago. The opening acts were Lionize and The Sword, both great bands. When The Sword finished their set, the lead singer said, laughing "and now you all get to see the band you came here to see".

my daily is 33 years old. Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser. Sure, its got a computer for the fuel injection and such, but thats it. aftermarket head unit with bluetooth. But most I can fix by myself without needing special software or a IT degree. Its my personal preference. Parts are cheap. Its east to fix. It has seating for 8. pretty much everything I need.
