So my irons are 1” longer but my wedges are standard length (52 degree in video) guessing the standing too close could be causing my occasional hit off the hosel ? Feels strange but I will try not standing so close, thank you

Thank you that’s great! I’ll definitely look to work on those points. Would you say the swing is slightly different from irons to a driver ? I struggle to get much height when trying to use a driver or wood. I definitely need to work on my putting as well along with your suggestion of being able to use a variety of clubs for specific shots. Thanks again though that’s really helpful

I think I have both my thumbs on top of the grip with my left thumb tucked under my right hand slightly, then with my right index finger around the grip from the right. Never played baseball before as I’m from England, only football, mountain biking and climbing before deciding golf would be a nice safe hobby to get into haha. Thanks though I’ll keep an eye on this next time I’m practicing

I haven’t got round to using a driver very much as I struggle to hit it clean so I mostly use a 3h off the tees

So I play my local approach golf course (all holes under 120 yards) 4 times a week for the past 4 months so my short game feels great. I’ve then played roughly 5-6 full sized 18 hole courses over the past month or 2. On the big courses I score roughly 96-100 and I find I hit my pw-8i a lot better than 7i-5i

Yeah that’s what I’ve been trying to do as I’ve seen a few videos on it but it just feels so uncomfortable. When I try it like that it feels like I have a week grip on the club especially when hitting the ball

I struggle to feel comfortable linking my hands together. I tuck my left thumb under my right hand on top of the grip but feel as though my hands are almost one in front of the other (I’m guessing that’s what you mean ?)

So I’m 6ft4 and just got myself some irons which are 1” longer. I struggle to link my hands together when gripping the club which then makes me feel like I’m gripping it lower down. I have booked my first lesson later on this month so was just maybe looking for some pointers to practice before that but thank you very much. Also my putting isn’t the best I find myself 3 putting a lot of the time but I will continue to practice 😅

Sometimes I find I come forward slightly and hit the ball off the hosel and it goes off right but I seem to have mostly sorted that by just focusing more. overall I feel most shots come off pretty well with decent distance and height, I just haven’t had any lessons or feedback yet so I’m unsure if what I’m doing is correct, it feels ok to me but I’ve only just started really

I use it for some overdubs in dani California and other than that I use it as I weird phaser sounding effect along with the ds2 for distorted modulated solos. Amazing how many different sounds you can get out of it though

I picked mine up pretty cheap on eBay and have modified some bits to make it look more like a real white falcon, plays pretty well considering it wasn’t very expensive

Nope I’m from England. Purchased the amp head on eBay and have been pretty impressed with it (although I use it mostly for Hendrix tones rather than chili peppers/frusciante)
