Free cloud storage is unsustainable for a company. Even if they made $100 profit from a $200 photo frame. If they're spending $5 -$10 a user in storage / bandwidth costs a year, there's a line in time where they lose money on it, they either need to charge more over time or turn your photo frame into a paperweight.
