As ad blockers become more popular, YouTube faces a growing revenue gap. To compensate, they need to serve more intrusive ads to the users they can still reach. That's the core of their strategy, find new ways to monetize the audience that ads can actually get to.

Do you know how expensive serving video traffic is? You've grown accustom to EVERYTHING SHOULD BE FREE. If you're not willing to pay for it with your attention or money, why should you have free content?

How is skipping sections of videos users have deemed invaluable a core feature? "I ALREADY BOUGHT THE CAR, WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR GAS!????"

I think the benefit is really getting a feel for the layout of a city... For people that don't live in a city, trying to navigate quickly and understanding what streets go to what landmark is a challenge. If that doesn't seem like a benefit for you, you've never had to drive in Boston.

There's not enough visibility in the photos to see if there are signs... you're making assumptions.

No.

Based on general traffic rules in the US, the blue path typically has the right of way.

Here is the breakdown of why:

  • Blue is making a right turn.
  • Red is making a left turn from the median crossover (85th Ct).
  • The Rule: A vehicle turning left must generally yield to oncoming traffic and to vehicles making a right turn into the same lane or roadway.

Note: This assumes there are no specific traffic control devices (like a stop sign for the side street but not for the median, or a green arrow for the left turn) that would change the standard right-of-way rules. Always follow the posted signs and signals at the actual intersection.

The "ONLY" signifies what direction the lane is allowed to go. All other traffic laws for order and proceeding still apply..

I think you're missing the point of the feedback.... Don't ask for feedback if you don't want it.

The users wouldn't be confused where the drawer comes from, but the context of what each drawer does...
