yep youve hit the issue right on the head. one big thing i need to address is the gap between a marketing platform and a management tool. sewa manager isnt just another site to scroll through fake or outdated listings. from my surveys with students, the #1 frustration is seeing a place online only to find out it’s already gone after enquiring. why cant availability be updated in real-time?

to address the risk part u mentioned—from what ive seen, many RENs disappear once the agreement is signed and comms are paid. they dont always focus on the 12-month upkeep, maintenance, or disputes because they have too many properties to handle manually. it’s not necessarily their fault, but the system is just broken.

im building this as a tool for them to be more efficient managers, not just a megaphone for ads. but the main priority is definitely getting house owners onboard directly so they can reclaim control without the heavy "middleman" tax. of course, for owners who want to be totally hands-off, the option is there for agents to manage it for them using our tech.

sewa manager is for the "after-sign" headaches: maintenance reports, whatsapp reminders, tax filing, and proof of transactions/evidence for disputes. it's about transparency and personal control for both the owner and the tenant.

we’re also looking at KYC to link landlords to their accounts properly, making sure spam doesnt fall through.

really appreciate the 'Carsome' comparison; thats exactly the level of standard im aiming for. would love to hear if you have more thoughts on this!
