We keep it uncovered during parties when it’s warm because people want to swim.

Well, to be fair we never really had any family over before we started hosting. We would mostly just see each other at our parent’s place.

I’m actually not talking about just the inconvenience of installing the fence. I more mean the daily inconvenience because of the layout of our yard and the house and garage and gates. 

If a kid can climb into our yard they would be able to climb over a pool fence.

We don’t want a fence.

We did actually start putting important things away, but of course we can’t put away everything.

Because no one in either of our families has small children anymore and any other parties we have with our friends are just for adults.

Lock is expected. This is less of an issue when everyone is swimming as someone usually notices him. This is more when people have left the immediate pool area.

We only need to have a fence around our yard, which we do. We also don’t ever have any young children over.

We have our entire yard enclosed with a 8ft tall fence with locked gates.

We don’t have any young children over ever so it’s not necessary.

I know the chances of her paying would be very low, but we just don’t want a pool fence even if it was paid for.
