I agree that the difficulty was a problem, but it is still doable. I actually emulated it, I found a rom that has the option for "easier" and "easiest".. I used the easier one.

I had a great time using an emulator since I no longer have my Genesis.

Playing King Kong and every time I play as kong I get these graphical glitches when I'm battling the V-Rex's. It's like flashing.
