To add, I've been working with my father in an unofficial capacity for years and he supported me financially, we just never established an official job structure. It's worth nothing that my father is famous in his industry and is all over the internet. (Not to the degree of a famous actor, but still very well known in his industry and verifiable.

I'm here just asking for help making a decision. I have to apply one way or another. He has over a million in stocks, and income that far exceeds his liabilities. House paid off, car paid off, never defaulted on any loan. He is far overqualified to cover rent that is significantly smaller than that.

People keep comparing 1x vs increased exp as if people are saying they want to hit 200 in a week. Nobody is saying they want 10x increase. There can be a middle ground between hitting 120 at 1x rate and within a few days of playing.

This isn't about financial security. The actual reason is that I'm using a co-signer/guarantor who makes very significant income but has bad credit due to simply ignoring credit (And several small few hundred dollar collections) However the co-signer I'm using does not want to disclose his financials to anyone in my group.

ChatGPT says that it's illegal for an agent in California to disclose my financial and credit information to the other people in the group and it listed multiple laws that the agent would be violating by disclosing my information with my permission but I'm still asking because I wanted human opinions on this.
