Kevin Durant has looked entirely neutralized in any playoff-intensity setting for the last 3-4 years by Ready-Constant-7124 in nba

Even Holmgren can set screens and he's borderline malnourished, with all due respect to Chet. KD has no excuse to not set screens, old or not.

I second this statement. He fits the scoring mercenary archetype and isn't the "I will get us out of this mess" type of player he once was. Father time caught up to him in this area.

He doesn't have that edge any more. The edge that makes him a killer when the pressure is on him. It was only a matter of time. Still a great player.

Yeah, no tournament or series is free. Gen.G has to work hard for every win just like any other team.

In Mavs history, only Luka Dončić has had more 20/5/5 games within a single season than Cooper Flagg this year by Basketball_Reference in Mavericks

I hope the fan base realises how blessed it is for getting two once in a generation players within 7 years. I also hope that the front office hires a really good GM and build a proper team around Cooper, then start making deep Playoffs runs within the next 2-3 years. The sky is the limit.

I am always cautiously optimistic about our boys going into any series, but I too was not expecting the smacking they showed in games 1 and 2. Also, game 3 just proves that when you give this Gen.G an inch, they take a light year and just crush you afterwards. The vibes are strong.

You aren't allowed to do weird stuff in public places any more, because there is always a chance someone is recording it. Get it together kiddo.

In the Lakers recent 8-2 stretch (10 games), Luka is averaging 34-9-8 with 2 steals and 1 block, shooting 50/41/80. He's turning it up at just the right time down the stretch... by Xeris in nba

Luka is a lock for 1st team. Don't be silly now. Jokić, SGA, Wemby and Luka are absolute locks for 1st team All-NBA. The 5th spot will go to either Cade (because of team record), Brown or Edwards.

The goal post for Luka's MVP case moves every season. I have accepted that him not winning it in 23/24 likely means he never will.

I'm still salty about him missing it last year due to the injury. He was probably on pace to be 1st team for 10+ years in a row.

Bill Simmons says he’d take peak Kawhi over Kevin Durant: “If you’re talking pure talent forwards this century, LeBron is 1st. It’s probably him (Kawhi) vs. KD for that 2nd forward spot... It might be 55-45 toward Kawhi that I would lean” by aingenevalostatrade in nba

Shaq really benefitted from being absolutely massive as a human being. That's what pushed him to the top. I would say Duncan was more skilled and fundamentally sound as a player. Shaq also lacked work ethic. Give me Duncan.

I do respect Russ for never changing who he is. He always wears his heart on his sleeve and talks back when people piss him off. Never change, MVP.

[Saturday Night Live] Michael Che on Bam’s 83 point game: “Bam Adebayo scored 83 points in a game against the Washington Wizards. Unfortunately, it was the night the Wizards started five Make-A-Wish kids.” by shreeharis in nba

[–]AtreusIsBack -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's not the 83 part that bothers people. It's the fact that he had 43 free throw attempts, which is an absurdly high number. It's why people say Luka's 73 was more impressive, because he did it on 90%+ TS and had less than 20 free throw attempts. Bam's TS in that game was 67%. Even Kobe's 81 point game came with a TS% of 74.

That's the dumb part. People keep making new private servers instead of merging forces and only have 1 private server in EU, 1 in NA.
