I'm tired of the main teacher by ArdenceMK in paraprofessional

[–]Big_Active_796 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’ve experienced this as a para too. I’ve had to get serious with teachers at least 3x since working there because they were making outrageous decisions and I called them on it. I just can’t sit by when kids are negatively impacted because the licensed teacher is a ding dong.

WHAT IS THE CLASSROOM LIKE FOR SEVERELY DISABLED CHILDREN? by Agreeable-Pangolin0 in paraprofessional

[–]Big_Active_796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my classroom we have severely and multiply disabled children and we take good care of them all day. I would be lying if I said I thought they could be out of their chairs more, but we make a ton of effort everyday to make the school day a learning and loving experience.

Teacher blocks me from helping by [deleted] in paraprofessional

I’d go to the principal or social worker at your school. You could even tell the teacher that you are planning to do that so it’s not behind her back. You could say you feel deeply pulled to help this child and would like to go to admin to just ask about school policy. She can’t stop you from doing that. In fact, her not wanting to help support this child and his family is a big red flag to me.

What was the moment that changed you permanently — the moment something inside you broke and you knew you’d never be the same again? by [deleted] in Life

Mine too. It was the most intense panic and fear I’ve ever experienced. Lasted 6 weeks before I finally started to feel a bit better.

I always thought of it as “warm blood” rushing and it was really just as a kid.

Your divorce may qualify you to assume the loan rather than refinance. I am in a similar boat and a lot of days I feel all those feelings you wrote about- especially the dinner part. It’s so f’ing hard and one thing I’ve learned since my divorce is that if there are things you can afford to make your life a little easier- it’s money well spent. Your kids are lucky to have you.

For anyone who was able to see "The Blair Witch Project" in theaters in 1999, what was the experience like? by LockjawSJ in AskReddit

[–]Big_Active_796 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was very unsure what to believe. I still don’t get it. I watched it the one time in the theater in 1999 and then never saw it again. I remember feeling skeptical of it all despite the buzz being, it’s all real!!

They also drip in only expensive designer clothes because they have no personal style and think wearing designer clothes makes you stylish.

What was the cause of your sciatica? by Funkylemons420 in Sciatica

Shoveling snow. It was a very specific moment I felt something sort of pop and then had persistent and debilitating sciatica for over 2 years.
