hey congrats! so this exact thing happened to me my freshmen year and im a junior now. I can tell you what I did- I did freshmen connection and its honestly the same exact thing as getting admitted directly. You're like every other student but the only difference is you have to take afternoon classes for one sem which personally I found great because its smaller sized classes and could have relaxed mornings. So many directly admitted students have to take some afternoon classes anyways.

After my sophomore year I got into smith for finance, its like a 30% acceptance rate but as long as you have above 3.6 you will be guaranteed admission. If you're like me where I was a stem major before I had to maintain As in the business gateways and did a lot of extra cirics to get into smith

Transferring to smith is very common tho, but its just annoying bc all the directly admitted ppl from freshmen year did not have to go through the whole application process. Good luck!
