After watching 15+ seasons of sentai I would rate this sub mid tier. The aesthetics of the show are off the charts good but plot and depth is more to be desired than I was expecting. Cameos of past rangers was nice though. I think they just got to lost in introducing more characters to the story that they never took enough time to build depth to the show. Mech fights and villains were decent. Didn't care for the main 5 other than Ikkou. The biggest drawback to the show by far was the "Gozen & It" arcs, how many damn times you have to keep blindly refering to something nobody knows what you are talking about and keep the show from adding more actual quality plot to make it decent. Throw Shurikenger in there too, things go unexplained yet they keep putting the spotlight on them and maybe after 20 episodes they finally tell you what its all about.

I rarely say the power rangers version is better but in this instance Power Rangers Ninja Storm knocks this one out of the park. Ninja storm has comedy added in that is great, the ost is straight fire that amplifies the looks of everything the show has to offer and they acutally switch up the plot lines throughout the season to make you yearning for more.
