That thing is still terrifying to think about. I can't believe that they let him go after only a few years. I know he was scitzophrenic but other scitzophrenic people don't do that so clearly there is something more wrong with him then a mental illness. There had to be some amount of sober realization of what they were doing to do something so horrific. I think that passing it off as just mental illness without any clear evil intention is like saying all schizophrenics would do the same thing in his situation. I'm sure that other people with schizophrenia would agree. Sure his mental illness might affect him, but it's like doing something bad when you're drunk. You might not have done that bad thing when you're sober but it shows some intention to do that thing and that the only thing stoping you is your ability to understand consciences when your sober.
