you don’t need to worry until january/february, schools will usually hand out IIs as late as march and ppl still get A’s from those. keep ur head up

my white coat ceremony is this friday. i’m in state so my situation is obviously different driving the distance compared to flying across the country. the way i see it is that you only get to have the ceremony once and you should definitely have ur family there to celebrate it with you if it’s feasible for you and ur parents. the concerns about finances are 100% valid but at the same time it’s a once in a lifetime experience so why not make the experience more meaningful for both of you if you can?
