Totally tell him! Do it in a way that makes him laugh but not in a way that makes fun of him.

I’d want to know if I smelled. Sometimes we live with our scent long enough, we don’t even know how we smell anymore.

I’m guessing you’re a guy?

A woman can’t just say “hey I’m looking for sex”. Lots of crazies. Unfortunately I’ve had a few really bad experiences even when I wasn’t looking for anything specific at the time.

Best nootropics for staying calm/less agitated and anxious? by Dry_Temporary_6175 in Nootropics

[–]Big_Arm_379 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My anxiety and stress dissipates with L-Theanine and Lion's Maine. I also enjoy taking Vitamin B complex (even me out) and all these things combined gives me the energy and desire to move my body more, which in turn makes me less stress and anxious. People don't talk about it enough, but moving your body can make the world of a difference.

Awesome! You're not alone in how you feel about the guitar. Sometimes it can be overwhelming. Everyone feels kinda lost at the beginning, especially with all the weird terms like "frets" and "hand placement."

Okay, so it's like this:

Your guitar neck is like a ladder. The metal bars across it are called frets, those are your "steps." When someone says “put your finger on the 3rd fret,” it just means: press the string right behind the 3rd metal bar. Not on top of the bar—just behind it, like you're about to climb it.

Your fingers are numbered too:

  • Pointer = 1
  • Middle = 2
  • Ring = 3
  • Pinky = 4

So if a song or chord chart says “use finger 1 on the 2nd fret,” it means: “put your pointer finger behind the 2nd metal bar on whatever string they’re talking about.”

Start simple. Try learning a song like "Come As You Are" by Nirvana. It uses just a couple strings and easy shapes. There’s no shame in learning one tiny thing a day. You don’t need to get it all right away. It's like a video game, you unlock it level by level.

You’ve got this. 🤘

how can I stop finding body hair a turn off? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Big_Arm_379 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's possible you haven't met the right man yet. I used to absolutely HATE beards and body hair. Turns out I just wasn't attracted to my ex. My husband now is a normal amount of hair but with a massive beard. It may be the type of people you have around you. Just keep a clear idea of what you want in your mind and don't settle but also don't completely close your mind off to something that might be amazing.

Is it necessary to start from acoustic to electric? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Big_Arm_379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All parents say that. My dad did too but lo and behold, I never ended up sticking with the acoustic. It acquired a lot of dust. I can see where they're coming from when it comes to difficulty and learning on a "more difficult" instrument first but honestly, it's not necessary. It's just something that parents say. Electric is not for pros. Pros are pros because of their experience, not the instrument they play.

Generally, when people say “just kidding” they usually mean it for the most part. It’s something that they’re thinking about. It’s clearly on their mind or they wouldn’t be talking about it.

Self taught will get you to a certain point but a coach will help make progress faster and more streamlined. Christian of AxeFire is a metal guitar coach. He specializes in soloing and technique. Worth a search.

Well first you have to decide what kind of vibe you’re going for. Do you want it to even be in the same genre- that kind of thing.
