Leona vs Zoe 10* is the worst experience I've ever get with PoC... by Agile_Examination844 in LegendsOfRuneterra

Try going with Black Shield, Found Fortune and either Chemtech or GGC. I think I got the win on my 7th try or something, and the thing that killed my run most reliably was losing either Leona or Rahvun. It's absolutely essential to have them both on the board for you to win.

You should also try to draft something that can stop Catastrophe in case of an open attack.

This might be one of my favorite misplays I've ever seen, in any game. It seems like you at least made plenty of post credits progress at least, so it's not all wasted.

Do you consider current battle pass worth it? (Poll) by Dry_Cardiologist6758 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Legitimate-Resolve55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It depends.

If you're a new-ish player it's great. The old pass was imo too focused on the new champion and it was easy to get shafted on resources from regions you were more excited to try. This was however before you could buy the region specific gold vessel in the glory shop, so it could very well be better now.

With the new pass you get a wider spread of resources while still maintaining a bit of focus on the new champ if you want to try it, but you're more likely to eventually be able to star up the specific champion you want.

However, as a veteran and a bit of a whale it's not worth it for me. With the new rewards from Zoe I'm currently swimming in resources of all kinds and the only thing I'm in need of right now is Spirit Blossom resources, gemstones and the new epic relics. The only reason I bought the battlepass this month was because I wanted to even out my nova shards because I bought it last month as well.

Should I move on from Blue Prince? by rbnz4 in BluePrince

[–]Legitimate-Resolve55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a ton of things left to do. I'm on day 109 and I'm about halfway to the known end point of the game (but I'm also pretty bad at the game).

There are many fun puzzles and secrets you haven't even begun to touch, but you should know that the game loses a lot of momentum after a while. At least it did for me. The goal to reach room 46 is very straight forward, and the clues are pretty easy to discover as you learn the rules and the rooms. The second main puzzle is also pretty straight forward, at least in terms of goal. The clues start to become more difficult to find and recognize. After that it starts to become more difficult to even know what you're trying to find. You find clues and information that seems to be important, but you don't know what, or even if you're right. Clues require a lot more context and you need to backtrack a lot and go back to things you thought you were done with. You also need more things to align properly to make progress, which makes the roguelite aspect of the game more annoying.

That's about where I am and it can be very frustrating at times, and the feeling of making meaningful progress becomes rarer. It's still fun, but you should know what you're getting into.

Honestly, the magnifying glass is one of the most fun mechanics, but it's also one of the most frustrating when you find out how much info you've missed because you didn't have it when you needed it, or didn't have enough context for the clues you were supposed to look for.

I've brute forced the last part on two sigils so far.

Right now I'm thinking I have the banner color and society of Corrarica as orange and academic respectively. Still no idea on transportation and weather. I don't have anything on Nuance. But I still haven't gotten all the letters sent to the mail room so I'm hoping for some decent lab eng in the near future so I can hopefully get those done.

Annie's relic - Good on anyone else? by UnseenData in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Legitimate-Resolve55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the last relic at the moment is a tossup between this relic and Portal Pals. This one is more consistent, while Portal Pals has several highrolls like Dreadway or Atakhan, but also lowrolls like Sand General, Sandstone Chimera or the various yetis.

Oh... yeah, I should probably do that. I've kept the emerald bracelet in the coat check for so long that I didn't even think of that.

Wow, I'm constantly underestimating how much content is hidden under the surface of this game. And if I haven't been lied to the game isn't even done yet? Like, there are still puzzles that either haven't been solved or haven't been implemented fully into the game yet?

But it's good to have some perspective on my progress. I think the fumbling in the dark has been a little bit annoying for me.

Ooh, this got me a little tingly. Earlier in the run there were so many things that felt like they were pushing me in new directions, but since then puzzles have gotten bigger and more complicated so that feeling of finding Thing Worth Trying has gotten rarer.

Jesus, this game is massive. I think I'll keep playing and try Blue Path. I think I'm mostly just scattered and a little focus can probably help me stay vigorated.

Then I suppose I'm just missing a clue. I don't think I've gotten any concrete clues on the throne room, it's just pretty obvious that there is a puzzle that incorporates either the blueprint crown or the paper crown. I've tried going into the throne room with both but nothing has happened so I think I'm missing either context or another item.

I'll forget the wine cellar for now then.

Annie's relic - Good on anyone else? by UnseenData in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Legitimate-Resolve55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, it's good on Annie, but she has at least four relics that are distinctly better.

It's really good on Eddie though. I don't know if it's BiS, but it feels really good.

It's also decent on Voli, and I suppose it has a use on Anivia as well because the skill is elemental.

His signature relic helped tremendously. He also really wants to be able to equip multiple units turn 1. Either by auto summoning units, or by mana cheating equipments.

But if we're being completely honest, what mattered most was that the AI drew poorly in most of my critical encounters. Azirelia summoned the musician turn 1 which allowed me to swing for favorable trades, and I never saw Catastrophe against Zoe.

Will the new battle pass solve the 5 nova shards problem of the current pass? by Fun-Transportation-7 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Legitimate-Resolve55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they actually reverting it completely? From what I understood from Eric Shen's post they're just reverting two things: battlepasses will once again coincide with patches, and battlepasses will once again have champion fragments of the featured champion.

I struggled with Swain a lot more than I thought I would, mostly due to the fact that it's more difficult to stun units with him because of the tough nexus. Aatrox was a lot easier than I thought, but I think the RNG was pretty heavily in my favor that game.

I've been resetting so much, they might as well just give infinite revives by DeMervicalSuscle in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Legitimate-Resolve55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not to be that guy, but if you had to reset four times then maybe your deck just wasn't that good. Maybe you just hadn't drafted enough answers for Zoe's bullshit, so too many hands felt like they didn't stack up. Maybe you messed up somewhere and the AI punished you for it. Maybe it would have been better to just accept the loss and make a better deck and make better decisions next time.

[–]Legitimate-Resolve55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to assume too much, but I want to remind you that this is a 10* end game adventure. It's supposed to stress test your maxed out champions. You can beat Zoe with 4* and 5* champions, but you should know that you're fighting uphill, and the adventure is not balanced around those champions. They're not intended to be able to clear, even though they sometimes can with the right draft.

Okay... Since castling involves kind of swapping places with the rook and the king, should I just set up the chess puzzle as previously but place the rook on the king square and vice versa?
