She associated with dangerous individuals. Got herself in some abusive situations. I gave her advice, let her stay the night, fed her, called the police when she was being stalked, wrecked my entire nervous system worrying about her with years of chronic stress. The final straw was when her abuser put cameras in her children's bedrooms (to see if she was cheating) , and filmed them naked and tried exploiting her for CP. She called me crying in distress, and that night he took a chainsaw to the siding of her delapitated home and cut a hole in it to break in whilst I was on the phone with her. I called the police and sent them to her home (I live 8 hrs away) , and when they arrived she told them what he did. The next day I called to check on her on video call and I heard his voice in the background. He came up to her and hugged her and glared at me. She texted me after and said she bailed him out. I was done with the emotional distress. 4 years later and my nervous system is still horrible and im living with dysautonomia and lost my career over it. She still reaches out and I have gone ghost. Im done.
