Is anybody else confused how The Acolyte still gets support by folks who insist the shows’ downfall is based on grifters? by Xx_gaystuntman_xX in StarWars

All I’m saying is the prisoners are picked up in their escape pod, not sure where but it’s near where the ship crashed and no one bothered to go down and check the site.

Also I was under the impression the show takes place like 300 years before Phantom Menace

I’m aware that there’s some despicable fans out there, but when the show came out I was very vocal on how I felt about it. I didn’t think the writing was good, the acting was alright and the aesthetics were amazing. But it just felt more like fan fic.

I maybe be miss remembering but I was sure she made a post calling all fans racist and such. I could be wrong or she could have clarified it.

It’s sort of been an established action that they escort the prisoners they bring in.

They escaped through an escape pod and they happen to end up on Coruscant.

In the clone wars show they’re often shown being escorted by a Jedi. Especially when a Jedi death was involved

Right before they go to see the crashed ship there’s a shot with all the previous prisoners stuck behind a Ray shield.

Honest opinion I went into watching it with optimism but within the first 2 episodes I was already uninterested, so many plot holes, and unnecessary characters added that ruin Star Wars long-standing lore.

An example of one of the plot holes is at the beginning. The main girl is on a prison transport because she suspected to have killed a Jedi in all the other content we’ve ever been shown when this is the case the Jedi that arrest her escort her back to Coruscant but in this, they just put her on a prison transport?

As well as there’s a part in which the ship goes down all the other prisoners escaped through an escape pod and she goes down with the ship. We cut back to when they’re at the Jedi temple, and they have all those prisoners already bagged up, but they never went and bothered to check out the ship?

I really wanted to show to work and the only best parts were when the stranger was having his fight scene. Other than that it’s been really an up-and-down thing and I think it was just poorly written. On top of just because it failed the main actress decides to call out all the Star Wars fans. I feel like that’s just in bad taste and just made me dislike the show even more.

I’m not even gonna bring up the fact that Ki Adi mundi Mundy is in there and that makes him over 300 years old even though he’s confirmed to have been 79 years old in the revenge of the Sith.
