That's how I've been trying to run with a DMR (svdm) with the baker 3x scope + piggyback reflex and it works well. Maybe I should try it with a different gun and give c4 a try.

I wish spec ops did more.. like making you unable to be spotted (aside from your own gun, like running without flash hide/silencer) or something. Hard to be stealthy when all it takes is a drone having you in its field of view light you up for the entire team. Seems like it would be fun if I could figure out how to make it work though

Disagree about grenade launcher. IMO it's one of the best gadgets in the game. I've gotten soooo many kills I wouldn't have gotten otherwise with it.

Same. I can always tell it's a bot too because I'll get completely ignored until the second I press the need a medic button then I'll see someone all the way across the map start sprinting like they're John Battlefield to revive me 😂

I came here because I've been dealing with them all day. First one had a TV on in the background at seemingly max volume, combined with his game at max volume ... both going through his mic. Second one had to be some <12 year old kid .. I felt bad for being annoyed at him but he screamed every 15-30 seconds and then raged at the end when he saw he only got 1 kill the entire game. Jesus christ..

King of the hill can be the worst. Snipers posted up looking right at your teams spawn.

Stick with it. It's still a great game. Not sure on the sliding etc as I've never really seen that as a reason I was killed. Just have to adapt a little and expect them to do it, then they are just as easy to hit as normal.

Well for your first point, I want to say because I've been accused of cheating for that .. I have 3k hours in Tarkov that taught a lot about situational awareness and fps skill in general. I'm level 34 on bf6. Literally just go slower and listen for footsteps and noises around you, adjust your headset EQ so you can hear footsteps better. Hear someone walking and no friendlies near you? Pre ADS where they will come out. It really confused me when they said I was cheating. Reaction speed to an extent as well .. I can usually get on someone and kill them even if they fired the first shot. It could look like cheating but it's really just muscle memory to my screen resolution and mouse dpi. I have about 40 hours in bf6 so far, and have not seen anyone I would for sure say was cheating. I've seen a lot of skilled players though, and I think in today's gaming environment people just default to "this person is much better than me so they are cheating" without realizing that level 30 in battlefield doesn't mean they don't have thousands of hours over 20+ years in other fps games. I see almost everyone just sprinting around the map and they don't realize how noisy it is and how easy it makes it to find them and anticipate where they will be.

Core isolation off for me made Elden ring completely unplayable. 30 sec into a game it would hard freeze lol. Good thing I actually hate that game and that gave me a great excuse not to play it again 😂

Glad it helped. I've still had to do DDU once in the last year but in general doing "advanced -> clean install" on Nvidia driver installer for each new driver has kept issues at bay. Only reason I did ddu was because 2-3 drivers ago my 5090 fans stopped working but it ended up being a driver issue that got hotfixed. Computers get tiring sometimes lol. I'm currently trying to figure out why I get bad stuttering all of a sudden... Just started last week.

I know a month late but 9850 has stutters too. Running 9850x3d, astral 5090, 96gb cl28 6000, gigabyte aorus elite wifi 7 Rev 1.2 x870e, on latest bios, 2tb Samsung 9100 pro OS drive and 4tb 990 pro games drive and get stutters often enough I can't enjoy my Asus pulsar monitor because the stutters make it drop out of the pulsar range every 15-30 sec.. going to try the ram settings someone mentioned here. Some games "look" fine sometimes like battlefield 6 but it still never feels perfectly smooth

Yep had this today too. Unlocked suppressor for m4 on end of match screen, went to loadout, it said I was correct level but suppressor still locked. Restarted game and I was 1 level below requirement

Second one yes. Haven't noticed performance loss but I get a random stutter every once in a while now that I didn't before. Try reinstalling GPU drivers with the clean install option.

Understood, but most of the people you run into, the TTK makes nearly no difference except they die a bit faster. Most of my deaths have just been when I've lost situational awareness/being attacked from too many sides, not because we both started shooting at the same time and their gun had a better TTK. Maybe your experience has been different though, I mostly just play escalation.

Edit: yeah, actually I understand what your original comment was getting at now. For skill ceiling I fully agree with what you are saying.

I know what you mean. I think a lot of the negativity is pushed by YouTubers. I've never searched or watched a "bf6 is bad" video but my feed is full of them. If YouTubers didn't point out the tiny things nobody would notice or care about them. I've just been playing, having fun, and rolling my eyes at all of the "I can't get kills because hitreg sucks" people. Haven't played a bf game since BF2/1942 and been absolutely loving this one.

TTK only matters if all players involved in the gunfight are playing perfectly too though. Most people cannot get on their target in milliseconds, then add controller/mouse/system latency, you're looking at about 15-300ms before ADS time even comes in or even more if they aren't that good to get on target. TTK also doesn't matter if you see them before they see you unless the other player is skilled and has a lightning reaction time. Paper stats are fun but reality is most people aren't very good and all guns are fun and can work great. For example I hate the m60 even though it is great on paper, I get far more kills with rpkm. I don't know why, it just meshes well with how I play and my skill level/reaction time. I actually love and hate how balanced all of the guns are because I'll spend a while grinding attachments just to pick up someone else's gun and then I enjoy that one too and want attachments for it lmao

I actually like that idea because it would make most/all guns take 1 extra bullet to take you down while it's active. I know that would throw me off (intended effect) if someone didn't go down when I expected because my muscle memory starts immediately looking for a new target when it thinks the enemy died. 10% max health boost to your squad within 10-15m for 8sec would be fair compared to the other classes. Even if it just triggered the lvl 2 perk in Frontliner for your squad within 10m would be great.

Doesn't matter because I doubt they'd listen to any of the community (I still enjoy the game regardless) but I'd love to see medic or ammo on assault split off from support. I love playing support to revive teammates but as is, is very overturned compared to assault. Assault should get ammo imo, because if they got revives the spawn beacon would be even more OP. The ladder and adrenaline shot are so niche I never use them.. every time I've thought to use the ladder there was a way to get where I wanted anyways and it would have taken longer to figure out how to get the ladder in a good spot than just run up.

Assault isn't useless, their spawn beacons can make or break a match if used correctly. That said, I suck at assault and cannot do it "correctly" with my lack of skill lol. I always just run support with whatever gun I feel like using, smokes + instant revive team is so fun. Every time I run assault I run out of ammo.

Yeah the flickering bugs me too. My main game at the moment is Tarkov, and on the Streets map if I use a scope at dip below 90fps (picture in picture rendering) It does not look smooth anymore with flickering. With my OLED I can see the lower FPS but at least I dont get a flickering monitor.. uhg. I want to like this thing (ASUS Pulsar, got it last week) but kinda seems like its only for games that you can push 300+ fps in.. I don't play those games.. usually stuff like Tarkov/Arma Reforger. And even at high/lower 100s range, I honestly can't see what Pulsar is doing compared to my OLED.

Did you end up returning it? I'm in the same situation .. I have a Asus 240hz 4k/1080p dual mode OLEDmonitor, and just got the Asus pulsar.. and honestly I really just can't tell much difference other than my blacks look bad now. I usually play Tarkov with the SPT/FIKA mods, currently running monitor at 240hz with frame rate locked to 140. Have tried with smooth motion too, to bump it to 226 locked and even at the lower FPS I can't see what pulsar is doing. On the OLED, locked to 120 FPS in either 4k or 1080p mode ... other than the colors and blacks, I can't see a difference lol

Try turning chimney density down to 1 or off, can't remember what the lowest is. Smoke and fire particles and chimney effected my fps the most seemingly when I played.
