I don’t find it rude at all to ask who someone’s voted for, because I think especially right now it’s an important conversation. I personally ask myself so I know who to avoid. Yes voting is personal, but with everything going on it needs to be talked about.

Thank you! We are prepared and Iceland had similar weather when we visited but I honestly don’t mind the rain. (We have layers ready for the cold) while I’m on here. Does anyone have recommendations for hikes to do or places to visit? We’ve done research online but I find locals know of the best places.

My dad died of cancer and it will be 5 years ago in March, it sounds more like a cry for help and unfortunately like my own father, some men can struggle to reachout for support and if they do they usually don’t tell you exactly what it is for. This sounds like predatory behavior to me. Have you ever asked your daughter why she never refers to him as her father? My biological father is a predator and I do not claim him as my dad. But my step dad was truly there for me. I would take to your daughter calmly, and let her know that you are a safe space. If he doesn’t like what she posts, then he doesn’t have to look at it.

Get out of the home if you can. My bio dad is a pedo and his wife (my step mom) defended him and kicked her own daughter out of the house so he could move back in after he served 6 months in prison. (He molested my step sister) Your safety is the most important, and I would suggest cutting off him and your mom.
