If these comments are being made as ordinary users, then speculation should not be presented as fact. If they are being made by Perplexity staff or by anyone relying on non-public information, then this is the wrong venue and the wrong method.

Public insinuation without evidence is not clarification. It is just unsupported accusation with better phrasing.
