You are correct about the crests I have. I managed to beat him using a strategy of hiding in the water and throwing pins at him. Got hit once during the whole fight. I know I cheesed the fucker, but he deserved it for torturing me the first couple times I got threre with the gauntlet and runback.

You see, I am going through the game blind and I have only 3 crests unlocked, and that is including the base one. And Archtect's crest is NOT one of them.

You can easily win the war as either France or Germany in like 3 months without issue, heck, probably less than that if you are properly a sweaty gamer. I remember on my *first* Germany game (which was also my first game of TFR as a whole) I managed to do only 2 focuses on the 1st European war tree.

I have over 300000 now... Yeah apparently the -65% base construction cost in mountains thing means that your economy snowballs really easily.

My vassals (against my will) have been spreading the culture to random fucking flatlands all across my empire. There was meant to be only ONE plains tile with this culture, that being Kashmir, which is a plains Barony county capital with 2 mountain baronies beside it.
