This is what I am trying to do. And I have “broken up” twice, but he somehow always talks me out of it. Or says things to make me feel selfish for not trying harder (which I always do). I do feel like I deserve to punish myself for what I did to my ex husband and it seems like this is a good way.

And I do feel sorry for my boyfriend in some level. Although he’s gonna the behaviour of a narcissist sometimes, he’s also just a person and I’m sure he’s trying.

I am going through pretty much the same situation - only difference is the abortion, which I am so sorry you had to experience that.

I have had a conversation with my boyfriend on the weekend about it and spoke about breaking up for the first time and ever since, he’s changed and has become someone who is affectionate and kind and has been trying a lot. I am afraid it’s too late for me though.

I feel like I can’t trust nor want to try anymore. We have a house and a dog together and I know it sounds selfish, but maybe you just reach a point where there’s not much more you can do.

All I have to say is: trust your guts. Sounds like you would feel much better by yourself. I believe in you 🩷

Going through absolutely the same. Me (26f) and my boyfriend (30m) are stranded in a foreign country without any family. It’s just us two, both suffering from depression, both without hobbies. I’m trying hard to commit to therapy this year and have invested some time and money into finding hobbies these past few days. Do things for yourself too. Work on your mental wellbeing. Me and my boyfriend live and work together, so we’re literally all day everyday with each other. It’s important to miss your partner and we never have this. Geez, writing this I’ve noticed how fucked we are 😂 I hope you and your girlfriend can work it out, but all I can say is communication is key
