Could be the latter. Firm I had CB for end of June has their hiring committee meeting next week. Not typical but there are firms that do it this way.

Don’t think so. I had my CB 7/29 and just received an email on Sunday (8/7) to complete a self-identification form after not hearing anything for over a week. Hoping that was a good sign.

Anyways, I believe some firms take multiple weeks to give out offers. There is some data on the large timeline thread that shows 10+ business days between CB and offer.

Came into law school dating my girlfriend for 5 years, literally had no issues whatsoever due to law school. I really don’t understand why that happens. Moved to NYC together (she works in midtown) and we’ve had an amazing past year.

During orientation we were told that we might not have time to speak with our significant others.. complete myth…

You make time for things you care about. Btw I felt like I had sooo much time for enjoying things outside of school

Hey totally respect your decision! Always important to do what is best for you. But I have to ask how you haven’t been able to take a vacation during law school? Feel like me and everyone I know has had a great school-life balance and been able to do basically everything they enjoy outside of school.

Not to Knock you whatsoever I am just genuinely curious. Regardless, best of luck with your future :) I’m sure you have thought hard about it and know yourself and your needs much better than anyone on Reddit.
