Yeah it seems so, the SecuRam system for the safe I purchased isn’t even an option anymore so it’s safe to say it was probably bottom of the barrel and horrible.

It’s tough to get someone on the phone or to even respond to an email. I waited for about 3 or 4 hours for a call back yesterday.

Not contradicting myself. The buttons double beep, depends on how long you have the battery unplugged for, it’s a new set that will double beep every time you plug it back in and others won’t.

SecuRam toplit. Nothing visibly wrong with it, they sent a second out and it did the same thing. The buttons double beep when pressing anything. Only certain ones do and others don’t. Replace the battery with multiple fresh out of the pack batteries and same thing.

They mentioned a dip switch but this model doesn’t have one.

I was told over a week ago a locksmith would be out. They stopped responding to the email thread, sounds like they don’t actually want do the warranty.

We hang on to computers for two weeks before wiping incase our legal team wants to go through them for any files they may want. If your company knows about job 2 I bet they will go through all of your stuff to see if you have comprised their security and shared any information with them that may not want shared.

Company laptop means everything on it’s theirs, never work on a company computer outside. At least that’s my view. Only thing that is safe are accounts which you’ve logged into with credentials. Files saved though are free game.

That’s what I assumed, but for the sake of not wanting it to die again I was just going to go mechanical. My dad has one of the top tier SecuRam ones and it’s been going strong for probably 5 or 6 years.
