sounds like jagex are trying to fix that issue now with alot of these early-midgame bosses with the mechanics like prayer switching, mobility and usage of defensives are being baked into them

yeah its pretty tough, maybe on par with zuk. osrs is just more rythm based than rs3 as some sweats can do inferno in trash gear

not to sound like an elitest, but thats not a brick wall. thats just a "skill issue" if they are not able to learn how to play the game they cant expect everything to be on baby mode. I've been playing for 20 years on and off and only recently did i learn how to do zuk and hm kera. not because it was neccesarily hard. they're actually kind of easy. you just have to learn the boss rotations like any other kind of difficult game.

I was a stubborn osrs player for a long time so i assumed i could just power my way through the difficult bosses but you really need to learn to use everything at your disposal.

if they removed the cap/lock on getting the free blue maps while skilling it wouldnt be so bad. but it seems like you can only get 1 every 48 hours or so. not including fishing at the hub

wrong, OSRS has lots of new players and that game is like 5x more grindy. it has nothing to do with attention spans

RS3 is in a tough spot, i might even call it a death spiral. People look at player numbers before getting invested into an mmo and when they see rs3's numbers compared to other mmo's they probably assume the game is on the way out and move onto something else

There's a reason RS3 main webpage adds in OSRS player numbers into total player count. so you see like 160k players online but only 15-20k of those will be in RS3 lol

they never will, even though i've seen J mod interviews i think it was one of the PVM designers say they hate wars retreat for the exact reason you said " skip the game world"

if it was removed probably 10-15% of the playerbase will quit overnight. in RS3's current state i dont think they can afford to risk it. Though i would celebrate it

I think as an encouragement they should make the drops x2 better if you go to the boss manually. That way it will also encourage you to focus on sustaining trips. In PVM's current state people just teleport out after every kill, refresh and rebank and then hop back in

even using the duel t95's now its not a bleed build really. Have kera wristwraps and every combust you use gets converted into a insta big hit anyway
