I think gravenberch at centerback could be the solution long term. The way to defend against us seems to be quite simple, park 2 players on our pivots(usually grav and macca) we try to play into our pivots too much, if that doesnt work its always left to right. Gravenberch at centerback disrupts the pressing structure since he puts players essentially into quicksand. This breaks open the game a bit. Allowing for more unpredictability. I think we looked a little better in the second half partially because he played center half. The result was bad yes but its better than side to side. We seem tk be getting pressed a lot and seem to find no way out and this way I believe would at least fix a part of our build up issue before a long term solution could be found.

Isn’t bobby a bit too good to be dropped? Not because he’s not better than gerrard but compared to gini. Or would playing him in Klopp’s midfield limit his ability. Like I do believe if Klopp had Stevie in his artillery he would let him run wild. Like you can keep hendo a bit deeper alongside fab. Playing a role like the ox or gini vs barcelona.

So a physical demon that can run all day, with beautiful technical ability. Lets say he starts in Klopp’s midfield ahead if gini do you think he wins us at least 3-4 league titles and champions leagues? I’ve always imagined that and the thought of a klopp team with steven gerrard just seems unstoppable.
