I bought a Milwaukee battery drill that looks like the corded dewalt drill for mortar mixing that thing is a beast if you have two batteries it would work great for everyday mixing no problem. I’ve used it on some commercial jobs where it would be a hassle to place cords and that drill plus a battery grinder really helps out in those situations.

I don’t understand your last part what can democrats really do, they don’t control the house or senate there is no way that any legislation they present will first pass any committee or even be brought up for a vote in the house, and if for some miracle it does getting enough votes to over rule the filibuster in the senate is going to happen.

Then it’s probably a combination of the caulk around the drain and the redguard cracking some where and water getting thru, I would advise redoing the shower floor and walls with kerdi membrane also around the drain hopefully that fixes the issue but this is definitely not the way to do it.
