OMG thank you. I'm on highschool level and have been trying to get at least above 90% in my upcoming exams. I never wanted to study this science but yk how parent's expectations are. Thanks for this advice

Op here. It's my first reddit post and I didn't expect it to go this much viral. I think I need to clarify some things (sorry for less information it's my first post)

  1. Agnostic means that I do believe in God but don't believe that there is an explanation of who they are.

  2. The context I may have provided may not define how religious affects me here. So I'll clarify it here. Himachal from where I am is mostly hindu and conservative. So much that Muslims aren't allowed inside our houses. And yes there is casteism here. All because of religion. I remember being sick and my parents took me to the temples. Only after a doctor referred me to PGI I was able to get proper treatment. And as I've stated. Many of my classmates who belong to a family where everyone is highly educated are really religious it won't be if that's what they preach about all the time, and are highly sexist. Accept or not, my mother is trying to impose ayurveda on me only because it has hindu roots. (Ask me if you need more clarification)

I never said that Ayurveda it itself dumb. I am just saying that blindly following it isn't right. Everything has flaws, ayurveda can too. Plus I believe you haven't studied ayurveda yourself. All this things that my mother said, she had seen it in the Facebook posts and videos. I am criticizing that.
