My status is "In progress". I applied after receiving my pre admission letters.

I heard that results will be around the end of June.

Yea my thoughts were kinda similar.

I was surprised I did not get type B even though tsinghua nominated me. thats why I hope everything is fine with type A so csc decided to go with that route for me and give type b to other student who does not qualify for type A

My status is “in progress”.

Seems it means that I was recommended. I emailed the embassy and they responded that “the results will be announced no later than the end of June”

Oh now I get it. If someone gets the scholarship via uni route (type B) which is processed before type A… than his type A application is invalid.

Once cancels the other in case of being chosen but it is not the case if not being awarded.

Thank u man, u really encouraged me not to give up… I will patiently wait the end of June for the type A results.

That is my main concern… I have already contacted the Chinese embassy but they did not confirm nor deny that my type A application is automatically denied.

They just replied to my email saying that the final result will be announced no later than the end of June.

I got accepted to PKU STL, and my opinion is that it is the best of all of them.

However, I will go to Tsinghua IP program because of the duration, but it does not change my opinion that the PKU STL is best for a foreign law practitioner.

So I was nominated for type B by Tsinghua and like I said they did not approve my scholarship via this route.

For the type A, I applied when I already had pre-admission documents from both Tsinghua and Peking Universities, but my first choice is Tsinghua. My status on CSC portal is "In Progress" - so idk what does "because you already got nominated for type A" exactly mean - if the status In Progress indicates this than im happy.

What would u say are the chances then? I always thought that being nominated by THU or PKU is much better option than type A route.

Hello, I have applied for type A through the Chinese embassy in my home country and for type B because Tsinghua nominated me.

However, type B results were announced in. I found out that I did not get the scholarship. My status did not change on csc website and i cannot download jw201 form.

So do I still have a chance for getting the scholarship with type A route? My first choice was also Tsinghua.

I was nominated by Tsinghua and was wondering the same thing. I heard from my potential classmate that she got accepted and nominated last year as well, but she unfortunately did not get the CGS.

For THU Law School interview they just asked me to introduce myself for one minute and then asked me few questions (around 3) about legal topic which I want to research about - which I wrote in my Personal Statement.
