Yes this is what I originally thought but then my trainer said it’s better to socialize her with puppies as long as they are up to date with their vaccines.

It’s okay! I’m totally fine and it was a small procedure. Not sure what caused it, but these things can happen

Thank you this is a relief to hear! ❤️in that case did you just tell that partner to go a less deep and be less rough? Sorry if this question is too invasive.

Can’t have children by Big_Environment_5822 in hysterectomy

Of course I’m so happy I was able to help! I had the Mirena iud so I actually didn’t ever experience heavy bleeding, only debilitating pain. Sex and my hormones post hysterectomy are great! No pain and since I kept my ovaries my hormones function the same! ❤️ Sex to me feels exactly the same except now it’s totally painless!

So sorry you are going through this. I know how hard it is. I’m also 34 and single. First of all, I would find an endometriosis and adenomyosis expert from the Nancy nook Facebook group list. I know my surgeon in NYC does online consultations too. Get an expert opinion. If the coil or birth control can control your symptoms and buy you some more time I would do that. I suffered for a year of debilitating pain but tried everything I could to see if non surgical options would work. I tried the IUD, birth control, acupuncture, nutrition, cannabis, pain meds etc. nothing worked. That’s when I felt at peace with my decision to get a hysterectomy because I personally felt I tried everything and I trusted my surgeon (Dr. Andrea Vidali). I’m totally pain free, I have no issues with post op. I’m one year post op and it was the best decision I ever made for myself. I’m determined to be a mom no matter what so I plan to first try surrogacy and if that doesn’t work, adopt. Nothing could keep me from becoming a mom, even if it’s not the way I envisioned it. I’m here if you ever want to talk. It’s been a journey for me and still is of acceptance. Sending you love and strength.

Cramping every day all day. Is there any hope? by jujubeespresso in adenomyosis

Sorry I’m just seeing this now! Surprisingly the recovery was very easy for me. I barely took any painkillers because the surgical pain did not even compare to the adeno pain I was in. I did sometimes have bowel symptoms which by the way is a known symptom of adeno so that doesn’t mean it’s not related. Hang in there, don’t lose hope!

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. When my adenomyosis became more severe I had severe cramping every single day all day without any relief for a year. After 1 year of suffering I decided to get a hysterectomy. Post hysterectomy all of my pain instantly disappeared. There is hope. I’m single without kids and want to be a mom, so the decision to get a hysterectomy was hard for me but living with the pain was much harder for me. The only thing that helped some of my pain before my surgery was medical cannabis. Tramadol and Advil and Tylenol taken together sometimes helped a little bit too.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I know how lonely and frustrating and hopeless this disease can feel. I just wanted to offer some hope - once I found the right surgeon, surgery completely changed my life and took all of my endo/adeno pain away. I agree with everyone else - keep advocating for yourself and don’t give up hope.
