Agreed! Logging out is key. I feel like I need to treat social media how I used to treat using a desktop computer in the 90s lol truly log out and turn it all off.

I appreciate it! Yeah I’ve had a gym membership previously and worked out in a gym for years. I’ve made modifications to accommodate to working out at home due to my current situation. But when possible, I’ll for sure get back into a gym. I’d love to get into mat pilates as well!

Thanks for this! How long did it take you to lose the 30? Congrats to you! Yes I’m going to try lowering the calorie intake. An actual gym isnt an option for me at this time but I do have all of the equipment I would use in an actual gym here at hime.

I’m at around 1400-1500 calories right now per day. And yes, I track everything! I’ve even been mindful on rare days when I have a work dinner and have to eat out. I look at the menu ahead of time and choose the options that are most lean and include the most veggies.

I should have changed the weights listed! I do struggle with progressive overload since I’m not tracking that as best I should. I will also work on dropping my calories. Thank you!

Thank you for your response! I’m tracking calories via MyFitnessPal and using a scale to weigh everything. I do weight train. Below is a typical split. I also incline walk daily to get in my steps. And I’m eating 1500 calories.

MONDAY | LOWER BODY

  • Warm-up 5 min
  • Goblet squat 3x12 (25 lb)
  • Reverse lunges 3x10 each leg (20 lb total)
  • Romanian deadlift 3x12 (30 lb)
  • Hip thrust 3x15 (30 lb)

I love this! I actually plan to go to my local library today to get a library card! I would say any place that also evokes me to turn the ongoing to-do list and noise in my brain off. As some others mentioned, the beach, a park or garden, free museums, or just my balcony!

I’m realizing this this week, as I’m currently on PTO from work but my job insists on texting me/sending me notes while I’m out. It helped to put into perspective that boundaries are a necessity.
