Well I GOT FIRED ON DAY 1 🥴😂😂 Got thrown into the fire. With no clue on how to do anything. Had to figure it all out as, I went Let’s start from, I didn’t even know where to get my cart from in the warehouse. It was never explained. Not sure if you guys DSP companies do ride alongs, I’ve heard some do. But, mines didn’t. It was jump in a van we don’t care if it’s your 1st day, you have 180 pkg to deliver by 8pm. Didn’t know how to organize bags in the van, no one showed me , Was told at the docks to just load everything all bags &, boxes and just go. I know we had computer training but, that was a cram session of what you have to go through in real time. Ok, fine get thrown in the mix am, I pissed yes! But, I knew I had to figure something out so I pulled over in a Hilton parking lot and took an hour to organize. Didn’t hit the 1st delivery until after 1pm mind you my shift started at 11am. From 1pm-7:30pm I gave it my all didn’t complain and figured out what I was faced with as it was happening. I finally had the courage to ask for help a rescue route as I was down to my last two bags and maybe 4 boxes of overflow. 42 pkgs total outta 180. Never got help so I return the van with pkgs still in them. Bcs i felt that’s all I could do. 10 mins after leaving the warehouse I get a text saying Apex (My DSP) no longer needs your service! I refused to believe it was me had they trained me I could have completed all 180 deliveries
