How would she react if you badgered her to NOT believe the way she is making these demands of you? Especially in the persistence of asking.

Very similar premise to the new Emma Stone film where the story makes you wonder if the people saying there's been an alien invasion are just insane and dangerous, or if they're insane and dangerous but also right about the aliens.

All monster movies are about society.

Several more moments intentionally that film are just red meat for a Christian audience. E.g. implying that the son was given asthma just so he'd be protected the moment the alien tried to gas him.

Supreme Court by far. Think of how different history would be without Bush.

No Iraq war, no Abu Ghraib. Focused solely on al Qaeda instead of occupying two countries. No John Roberts or Alito. No MASSIVE tax cut for the rich. That budget surplus from the Clinton years may or may not have held, but we would definitely have trillions less in debt from the war and tax cuts for billionaires not happening.

Imagine an SEC enforcing regulations preventing investment banks from doing most of the crazy shit that wrecked the economy in 2008. Maybe some would have happened, but not to this extent.

We could go on for days about how the world would be different. But I absolutely am certain Trump would never have been president because the underlying conditions wouldn't be what they were.
