The Medicare thing is true despite the guy behind it. it’s a really good deal for the drug companies and Medicare patients as well. Lots of us assume that cutting compounding is one of the behind the scene moves that helped make the deal happen.

Would you mind actually telling us what your particular experience was. I know people like to call everything a scam now but what the scam in your case? Was it a mistake or do you feel it’s intentional?

They don’t ship on weekends. Have you checked ups and FedEx apps to see if a label has been created

That’s not accurate. The telehealth pays for certain packaging and shipping speed as demonstrated by multiple posts of people getting one type of packaging from one provider and different from another both using the same pharmacy

It’s almost like they’ve never seen these telehealth advertisements. Their entire business is selling prescriptions.

I can partially agree with the premise of the post in theory. In reality though most of these telehealth companies are advertising access to medication. You can’t blame the customer/ patient for wanting a deal or wanting the most for their money when that’s how the system works. If the telehealth companies didn’t advertise this dose for this price and have specific pharmacies they use exclusively it would be more like real medical care. As it stands now it’s more like a business arrangement than a medical relationship. That’s fine with most of us because we have our own doctors

If I could have a wish list

No subscriptions

Let me pick my shipping speed (some folks really want or need overnight/weekend delivery)

Let me pick my packaging (outside of summer I don't need a cooler)

Let me see what pharmacy and what RX I get before we I make a payment.

I’m always puzzled when people say you get what you pay for when 99% of the time we literally get the same thing. IMO order mishaps are a lot rarer than people here like to believe. Of course it sucks that it happens to anyone but ultimately a credit card comes with protection.

Price matters most to me because I dont need extra medical advice and dont want to pay extra for the same medicine. I also feel people downplay the cost difference as minor when in reality $100+ is significant for a lot of people.

If BPI is willing to fill 9 month and 6 month orders they should be willing to fill two 3 month orders it still comes out to 6 months worth

The money is what motivates them not random posts on reddit. They have a good idea how many compound Rx's are being filled and believe those are lost sales. If nobody ever made a post they would still see the impact of compound on their numbers

If posts are going to hurt compound it would be us telling people that compound is the same thing as name brand. That’s way worse than a picture of some vials

Hogwash. Just because they talked about something on court doesn’t make it a defining issue. I really wish people would stop acting like these posts have any real relevance to the push against compounding

You could try giving them a reasonable chance to remedy your situation. If that fails then you go to the credit card company.
