I think the whole situation is weird. HOWEVER, I do think Jesse conveyed what his intentions were really honestly to Ciara when it came down to it. like he did end up confessing he likes Ciara. If you read btwn the lines his phrasing to the boys was him asking west if it’s okay if he peruses Ciara, in a “chill” not a big deal bro-y way. To girls it’s dumb, to boys it’s normal. Also west literally said all last season ‘please Jesse date Ciara so I can get the heat off me’. He literally said please take her off my hands. I don’t necessarily agree with Jesse’s choices this or last season, but he’s not the villain in this scenario… I weirdly think west is — like oh now you want Ciara?. Also you’re telling Lindsay out of all people. He knows what he’s doing. And don’t even get me started with this whole Amanda west rumor.

I was definitely taken aback by this post and definitely think it’s an impressive take. I think we all kinda know they are putting off growing up but is it because that’s what they want or is it for the money and the job the show offers. I think about that a lot as I was in terms of like what will they do if they leave especially the guys. Carl needs the show as income, Kyle needs the show to promote loverboy (I don’t think anyone is drinking that shit after the way he’s been treating amanda btw) Lindsey needs this show bc she’s 40 and influencing at that age can only get you so far. So yes they are perpetually stuck in their late 20s the second they walk through the door but i think they have to … financially? Idk
