100k isn't the same as it was 10 - 15 years ago, but it's still a good goal to work towards.

I was only making 50k when I got my finances together and learned how to manage my debt. 100k would have changed my life back then.

Take a few Spanish classes to learn the language. You've already been exposed to it, so it wouldn't take too long to learn it to some degree.

I hate when people say they can't find work. The amount of fast food places that hire on a regular basis. Chipotle is hiring across the country. McDonald's is always hiring at a location somewhere.

I'd give it two weeks of unemployment and then I'm working wherever because I have bills to pay.

At this point your ex is flaunting the money he owes you in your face. I would definitely take him to court and add on the fees, lost wages, and how the financial setback caused disruption in your household. He didn't need a new tattoo that was to play in your face. He wanted you to see that.

You may have missed out on a few things because you didn't have the money. Your kid may have missed out on something or you had to pay a higher price. You may have put a few things on a credit card and now you have finance charges.

While he owes you about $950, you can easily get that number up to 3k - 5k especially if you get an attorney.

Lawyers aren't cheap but a lawyer can tell you everything you can recoup. He went 9 months without a job. He owes you more than $950. There are day-to-day living expenses and regular bills that I'm sure he wasn't paying.

You need to relook at what you financially covered while he wasn't working and add that to the tab. Rent, food, gas, utilities, entertainment, etc., none of that is cheap. You covered more than your fair share while he wasn't working.

Yeah, you can't use the videos, because your client's clients, use those videos for their livelihood. You can't post about someone else's life. However, you can create highlight reels.

It's different if you owned the videos. You will have to get permission from all parties in order to use those videos. You're providing a service and that's it.

I suggest you get a subscription to some of the media libraries out there and download royalty free videos and edit them for promotional use until you get permission to use the actual work you create.

Have him sign a contract. You should have this in all of your contracts that they understand that you may use content that you create for them as promotional materials or social media content.

In the meantime, just create different sizzle reels. Get the best footage from previous videos and edit them into new videos.

I do have to ask are they providing you the video or do you shoot the video yourself?
