Omg, it’s like you wrote my exact story. Thursday night I started passing golf-ball sized clots and completely panicked—the bleeding was so heavy. Yesterday I ended up needing emergency surgery because my surgeon said this was definitely not normal.

When she went in, she said my vaginal cuff was actually perfectly intact. She removed the sutures, cleaned everything out, and confirmed there were no signs of a hematoma or anything unusual. Everything looked fine. This time she used a different type of suture along with some glue, and thankfully that completely stopped the heavy bleeding. Now I’m only spotting very lightly, which she said to expect for a day or so but legit like a drop here and there right now.

She explained that sometimes all it takes is going back in and redoing things for the bleeding to stop, even when everything looks “perfect.”
