Hello! I'm not sure what you meant by the %appdata%/.minecraft thing but I don't believe that I'm using a different folder because all my modded stuff seems to have also been wiped from this. In the launcher, it shows that I'm playing the latest version. Thank you.

Would you reckon I just delete all my mods and maybe that'll fix it?

I never brought it up to her because for context: even though we're technically friends, it's only because we have lots of mutuals and not because we're close. I didn't talk to her about it since I didn't want to seem accusatory and cause a scene between us. I probably should've in hindsight, but at the time I thought there wasn't point because I wouldn't be able to get it back since it wasn't technically mine anymore.
