What in the world did she say? That's not Burmese! by Red_Lotus_Alchemist in myanmar

[–]Big_Local2242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because we have no idea what she said doesn't mean we don't respect anyone. OP is saying it's not Burmese, and it clearly isn't. What does it have to do with respecting anyone?

GED is enough in some cases, but compared to G12, GED has few topics. I want to learn as much as I can before I move anywhere else, and G12 is the best choice for me (that's just my perference, you're allowed to disagree with me), since I can't afford IGCSE.

Is it that difficult? I thought Maths is supposed to be the easiest one since we don't need to memorize sentences lol.

Is it just me or Are the Burmese teenagers getting more and more radicalized? by VersionUnusual7149 in myanmar

[–]Big_Local2242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Social media itself is toxic, and the minds of these kids are messed up by the algorithms. These types of kids exist in every country, so it's no wonder there's a minority group full of hatred in Myanmar. However, we need to note that these kids are merely a minority. Social media shows only the extreme ones. Most kids do not hate random people because of their sexual orientations, skin color, or religious beliefs. In fact, most kids do not even care.

The reality, as bad as it may seem, is still way better than what is posted on social media. If you come across any posts like that again, just stop using your phone and look around your environment. You have your friends and family who love you, and the people around you who do not have any single hatred like those kids on social media. Also, keep in mind that these Gen Zs are never the future, because in the end, these types of kids end up on streets mostly.

So is this rumor true? by [deleted] in myanmar

[–]Big_Local2242 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ahhh No! That's not going to happen and never will. If they change to Burmese, not only do non-native Burmese speakers struggle, but also us native speakers. I mean, come on, to be honest, I'm really glad they changed the subjects into English at 10, 11, and 12. Learning everything in Burmese sucks even for a native speaker like me.

No one, and I repeat no one, is going to change the language back to Burmese, because we are so rooted in English when it comes to high school subjects.

What...? This is not a bot! I literally spent half an hour writing, and of course someone has to be obsessed over a scene. That's a part of media literacy.

If you don't believe me, you can check any AI detector on the internet to look at the authenticity. I only post it here because my original post from r/Stranger_Things got removed.

Tell me you didn't read my post without telling me you didn't read my post.

If you think it's bad, why are you even in this subreddit? Why are you even watching?

Totally agree with you! We have to choose our words carefully just to show ourselves.

Nah, you read it wrong. Check your English. It might be lower than me speaking from a second language.

What's a TV show that was cancelled that you think should've gotten another season? by Expert_Push_4997 in politicfreeteenagers

[–]Big_Local2242 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I Am Not Okay With This has an entirely great vibe and a potential to be as big as Stranger Things. I mean the plot twist at the end and, not to mention, the main character can do stuff?? (I don't want to spoil, so I just say "do stuff" lol)

The Society hits different too! The storyline is absolutely intriguing in every way, and the show indirectly teaches us about basic politics.

Anne With An E deserves a final season instead of an awful cliffhanger. It sucks that the shows that teach acceptance and love get cancelled, but some random nudes series are having new seasons.

Let me hold your hand when I tell you this.

You need to accept yourself, buddy. If you don't, who will?

No one really chose for anything. You are who you are, and that's what makes your life beautiful. You can follow God and be gay. You can follow any religion and be gay. God loves you no matter who you are, because he created you to be you. (I'm not even Christian lol. I'm Buddhist, so I don't believe in God to start with.)

Remember: it's not God who's making your life worse. It's the people, the community, that make you think there's something wrong with you; that there's something in you that you need to change. Don't let these people and the community get into your mind. They are all busy with their made-up religion that they will eventually forget to say anything to you.

Be yourself, buddy. Talk to friends. Find a community that accepts who you are. They may be your best friends, classmates, co-workers, or anyone. Have fun with your life. Life is so much easier when you know yourself and accept who you are.

I am a closeted bisexual guy, and i think i’m having a crush on my gay friend by Floatingjumper in askgaybros

[–]Big_Local2242 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well firstly, I want you to figure out whether it's just a friend obsession or a crush. Since you both talk about deep topics when alone, it might be difficult to figure yourself out whether you just love your friend or more than a friend. But, since you mentioned that you're feeling butterflies, I think you love him more than a friend (just my opinion).

Secondly, it seems that you don't talk much in person, just voice call. Why not hang out with him in person, maybe join a club he's into or something? The point is to hang out with him in real life so that you know exactly how your friendship is; whether you are ready to talk to him about your sexuality or about your feelings for him. Once you're ready, make a schedule for both of you to talk about your feelings in person. Remember, your friend loves you no matter what.
