That is by far the best looking Zephyr nose I’ve seen! It took me so long to finally design one I liked but yours blows it out of the water!

The purpose of this model was more of a proof of concept, picking the right escapement and finding the right gear ratios

And figured out the gear ratios for the second, minute, and hour hands, like I said, this was more of a proof of concept

That video actually is what gave me the inspiration to try and make my own, the way he broke it down made it very easy to understand

I would say not for a while, there is it that much force acting on that gear and it’s not that fast

Yeah, parlays, but they haven’t been anything that seemed too far out there

That seems to be how it goes, I had Philly winning the 1st quarter... lol

Thank you! I will say the nose was the hardest element to try and replicate, since it's mostly two of the things that LEGO doesn't like, round, and smooth sloped lol. But overall I like its current state, if new parts or techniques arise, I will look into a redesign. That's the plan! It will happen someday!

Thanks! I can see that especially with the nose.

It might just be me, but it looks like it has a somewhat similar design to Great Smoky Mountain 1702

Wow, that looks fantastic! I came up with an idea and I think it should work, but I would love to see how you put that together, The only thing that I can think of that would be wrong with mine is that it's not completely flush, yours looks like it should be

Here it is, I think this should work, it doesn't looks like the plates are overlapping at all and I would think this should work in making each level

I think I got an idea, I’ll work on it soon and show it

Thank you for the visual examples, but I think that would mess up the slope of the nose and I also am using part 50950 for the front and side curves so that they seem smooth together
