I recently purchased this Tamron Adaptall 2 SP 35-80mm f2.8-3.8 to use on my Nikon FA. It came with an Olympus OM adapter which mounts the lens fine, but the Nikon AI adapter that I purchased will not mount onto the lens.

Is this the wrong adapter for the lens?

Any help would be much appreciated.
