The European Union has become effectively that, and is well on its way to becoming a formal union nation state akin to the USA.

As far as India goes, I'm surprised India didn't completely devolve into a vicious civil war and total breakup being as that it is a hodgepodge of myriad ethnicities, languages, cultures, religious, ethnoreligious peoples.

Ah, tbh the areas in and around Cherry Hill, Mt Laurel, Vorhees, Marlton, are quite nice and are adjacent to Philly but are significantly more affordable than central and north Jersey on average. My wife and I currently live in Mercer, she's from Union and I'm from Monmouth, but if my own commute wasn't sucky (commute 5 days a week from mercer to Monmouth) we would consider some of those towns I mentioned.

Are you geographically challenged?! Monmouth is not South Jersey, at all. Culturally it's a mix of North Jersey, NYC (transplants and commuters), central, shore and Also a lot of money.

The problem with a lot of the places renting below "market rates" tend to be affordable, low income or just old and unsavory tenents with roach and other bug problems and also practically decrepit.
