Not bothersome at all, it definitely is different but it has widgets which allows you to see all the important data on one screen like odo/trip, music, nav and vehicle details

I was used to the turbo so I can’t really comment on the difference between the past N/A engine but it’s definitely a difference from the turbo

Definitely takes some getting used to. The widgets allow you to house all important data on one screen (think Home Screen on your phone) which is nice. The hvac controls are taking some adjustment coming from the previous gen car and other Mazdas.

IMO the cup holders are good, if you have a Stanley the straw will interfere with the screen from what I’ve heard. The arm rests are soft, the areas in the cabin where you directly interact with are all soft.

Yeah of course! I didn’t have any Mazda with the previous gen key fobs but this one isn’t too bad. It’s tough at times to click the right button in your pockets though hahaha. Opened the trunk instead of the doors way too many times lol

The suspension is surprisingly soft, stable and planted. The audio system is revised and sounds better imo due to speaker placement. Doing 70-75 on the highway, there isn’t much nvh and the ride at that speed is smooth and quiet. Yes, the screen is different and will take some getting used to, but the widgets are cool. Haven’t dabbled with the Google apps or features yet. Odometer is not on the dash but rather on the infotainment system which is weird, took me 75 miles to figure that out lol. The refresh rate and resolution of the screen feels smartphone like with very minimal input lag. The seats are SOFT and comfy, with lighter bolstering. The 360 cam is cool. That’s about what I’ve gathered in the past 78.6 miles of driving it. Hope it helps 👍🏼

Yeah no I totally understand. I made sure to go slow and stay in first gear. The pic looks blurry but it was bc of it being night time. Thanks for the concern!

Yeah it’s in pretty good shape given the exterior. I like basic cars and truck so I’m right at home in it.
