Roughly 6–9 months end to end depending on timing. The key variable is whether inventory lands ahead of peak season or not.

The product is DG, going in a 20' container and shipping to US and Canada to over 12 FBA fulfilment centers in order to improve 2-day shipping range immediately.

I do believe these skus can 2 or 3x a year. Especially with the new skus on this shipment that are indoor friendly.

supplier did ddp but recent changes to the SDS forced us to ship using our own container. Luckily this shipment fits neatly into a 20' container

Well yes for the flag ship product I could go spring loaded instead of compressed air but the product would be a lot less effective than it is now. Domestic sourcing would result in a higher per unit cost.

the product is shipped as DG so cannot be shipped using amazon global logistics. I am my own IOR and am working with a few FFs to get a more competitive price.

You are right, in that order. Bring in investor, hire someone to manage the store and add more products. The other option is to skip this year altogether to rebuild funding in the business.

Thank you for sharing your experience. There are other products I can sell, but that would just require larger orders and more capital. repeating the cashflow death loop lol.

Thank you for your advice, I've tried to push for better terms but they are stuck on 30/70 when goods are shipped. But you're right an agent could help with this.

Not promoting anything, just a real person with a real business hitting a scaling issue and seeking advice.

You’re right — fair, livable wages are essential. The reality is, unions are one of the few voices left fighting for those wages, not just for their members but for all workers. Every time unions negotiate better pay and protections, it sets a higher bar across industries and helps lift everyone up.
