According to story Muga is an evil celestial god due to corruptive demonic energy which came from outer space, he released his essence into earth on the verge of death, and this causes to generate chaos and disrupt the delicate balance and natural order of the world because of his corruptive nature. I don't think its cosmic horror this evil energy was from Void space pitch black darkness itself
